The largest mollusc
The primacy of the responsibility of a cephalopod Mesonychoteuthis hamiltoni, more than 20 meters, which, however, has never been found a whole body. The record is then recognized in Architeuthis dux who apparently can reach 18 meters in total length surpassing so many whales. The fishermen who met him or crop gave rise to many legends and his name also appears in the book "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" as "giant squid."
