Molluscs with Longest age
In most species the molluscs living few years, in some cases, as the Lithophaga lithophaga, known as date mussel, reaches sixty years of life. Nothing compares with the Arctica islandica (Linnaeus 1767), a curious bivalve of the Baltic Sea, which reaches the incredible estimated age of 400 years.
