The moon revolution around the Heart
The Nautilus is a cephalopod equipped with a beautiful shell. By day it dive to depths of 500 meters then climb to the surface at night. The different temperature, salinity, oxygen and salts in the water led him to change his growth between night and day. Affected then, like all living things, the lunar cycle. For this reason, on its shell are formed daily growth striae and a more pronounced monthly. Observing these streaks of nautiloids and ammonites that, over time, have preceded the current cephalopods, it has been determined that the moon revolved around the earth faster because closer. It is so measured that in ages past there were months of 14 days and that they are gradually increased until the current cycle.
Il Nautilus è un cefalopodo munito di una splendida conchiglia. Di giorno si immerge fino a profondità di 500 metri per risalire poi di notte in superficie. Le differenti temperature, quantità di ossigeno e sali nell'acqua lo portano a variare la sua velocità crescita tra notte e giorno. Risente poi, come tutti i viventi, del ciclo lunare. Per questo sul suo guscio si formano strie di accrescimneto giornaliere e una più marcata mensile. Osservando queste strie su nautiloidi e ammoniti che, nel tempo, hanno preceduto i cefalopodi attuali, si è potuto determinare che la luna girava intorno alla terra più velocemente perchè più vicina. Si è così misurato che in ere passate c'erano mesi di 14 giorni e che questi sono progressivamente aumentati fino al ciclo attuale.
